I wasn’t tagged for this one, but I saw it on Sara‘s blog and loved her answers, so I wanted to see what mine would be (๑>ᴗ<๑)
- Name a book title from your TBR for every letter of the alphabet (can exclude words like ‘the’ if need be) these must be books that you have physical/e-book copies of and not ones you intend on getting but haven’t yet
- Try and include different authors for every single one
- At the bottom of your list put how many you could fill in (out of 26)
- Tag other people to join in and link back to the person who tagged you!
Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. I love this author but I’m waiting for the summer to read this one.
Bluebird, Bluebird by Attica Locke, it sounds a little bit more literary that the thrillers I normally read, I’m intrigued.
Confessions by Minato Kanae, Japanese authors are really good at creating unease so it sounds quite disturbing.
Disturbed by Jennifer Jaynes, another one that sounds quite dark, I would love to find the audio version too since I like the narrator.
Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer, I’m scared to read it since I know it’s going to be really horrible.
First & Then by Emma Mills, a much lighter read, I’ve heard so much good about this author.
Good Me, Bad Me by Ali Land, I’m not really into psychological thrillers but this one has a serial killer so it still sounds like something I will enjoy.
Homer’s Odyssey by Gwen Cooper, I love cats so I think I will love this one.
Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine, I love her adult thrillers and am quite intrigued by this one.
Just Eat It by Laura Thomas, I’ve been struggling with food and an eating disorder for more than 10 years so I have high hopes for this one.
Kono Oto Tomare 5 by Amyû, I love this series which gives me all the feels. It’s about koto, a Japanese traditional instrument, but its take on friendship is universal.
Last Night at the Lobster by Stewart O^Nan, not my usual type of read but I’m quite intrigued.
My Boy by Takano Hitomi, apprently this one is also full of feels, can’t wait to start the series.
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, this sounds like a super badass story and a fun ride.
Our Endless Numbered Days by Claire Fuller, this one was on my list together with My Absolute Darling which I hated and DNFed, hope this one is more for me.
The Psychology of Time Travel by Kate Mascarenhas, it reminds me of Hidden Figures which I loved, maybe it has nothing to do with it but I’m still quite een on reading it.
Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking by Susan Cain, I often feel excluded by extroverts who take a lot of space so I’m interested in seeing what we introverts have to offer ﾟ*｡(･∀･)ﾟ*｡
Rosemary and Rue by Seanan McGuire, I loved other series by this author so I hope I enjoy this one too.
Summer Bird Blue by Akemi Dawn Bowman, Starfish was my favorite read of last year so I have high hopes for this one, waiting for the summer to read it.
The Trespasser by Tana French, it took me a while to learn to appreciate Tana French’s slower pace (compared to gritty gory thriller I generally enjoy) but once I got used to her style I started really enjoying the Dublin Murder Squad series.
The Unquiet Dead by Ausma Zehanat Khan, it sounds quite different from thrillers I’ve read recently, I like thrillers set in different countries (I’m on an Austrlian kick right now with the Crimson Lake series) and excited to read something set in Canada.
Viking Warrior by Judson Roberts, I got this one for my husband and he loved it so I’m excited to pick it up too.
We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson, I havent read anything by Shirley Jackson yet but she’s on my must-read authors’ list.
Nope, nothing for this one unfortunately ╮(╯∀╰)╭
Yakusoku No Nerverland 2 by Kaiu Shirai & Posuka Demizu, ok I’m cheating a little bit with this one because it’s the original title. I enjoyed volume 1 but hope the story gets even more exciting in volume 2.
None for Z either ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Total: 24/26, not bad!
I think this means I have to get reading and stop buying books! ﾟ*｡(･∀･)ﾟ*｡
